The Project Organisation Swiss Public Authorities for the EURO 2008 will orchestrate the co-operation of various bodies of the federal and cantonal authorities and event sites during the preparation and execution of the Euro 2008. It is also orchestrating the co-operation with the Swiss Football Association, Euro 2008 SA, other private-sector partners and representatives in Austria.
The security forces of the host cities, the cantons and the confederation are meticulously preparing for their operations in the context of EURO 2008. These activities are coordinated by the Security Sector with the aim of securing a safe setting for a festival of football in a carefree atmosphere.
