The visitors can look forward to their Swiss hosts!

Several hundred thousand guests will visit Switzerland duricht tue EURO 2008. We want our guests to feel welcome wherever they go throughout EURO 2008. The Host Training Initiative at the heart of our Model Host Campaign is intended to facilitate this. It is hoped that more than 50,000 hosts will take advantage of this initiative, among them airport ground staff, customs officers, waiters, sales assistants, train crews, police officers, members of the armed forces, fan helpers – in fact all those who are likely to have direct contact with guests during UEFA EURO 2008. The training itself will be provided by a National Team of Hosts made up of representatives from every link in the service chain. The Host Training Initiative will help our hosts to cultivate a service mentality and to be warm and welcoming towards guests.
