Mona Lisa Madörin in Zurich has created one of the eleven designs. Her label is succinctly called «mlm». In 2000 she developed her first collection under the mlm label. mlm features idiosyncratic, hip and trashy fashion - trendy, wild, sexy and keeping pace with the times. It has proved a very popular label among all those hitting the scene in Zurich, Milan, London and New York.
Under the title Group A, «mlm» has created an outfit featuring scraps of the European flag and the national flags of all Group A teams. The flags are meant to combine fun, colourful cultural diversity and the dynamics of football. Only those reaching for the stars can be winners. The stars of Europe are to cast a spell over the princesses of football and help them make a glamorous appearance.

The 11 Swiss designs can be seen live along with 11 creations by Austrian designers. From April 17– 20, 2008 the Swiss Team of the «11 Meter Mode» fashion competition will present what young Swiss design has to offer at the «Modepalast» (Fashion Palace) in Vienna’s Museum’s Quarters. Other events where the designs will be presented include the Swiss Beach on June 6 (Hermann’s Beach Bar).

What kind of outfit should women wear on a football pitch? Eleven young Swiss designers have presented their witty ideas during the «11 Meter Mode» fashion contest. Their original designs combining football and fashion can be viewed online or live. For once cleated shoes and shorts will remain in the lockers; instead you can marvel at a broad range of fabrics, patterns and styles.
