Chaumont Panoramic Funicular Railway

It is an impressive 15-minute ride up to an altitude of more than a thousand metres, from where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Three Lakes area, Morat and Bienne, the alpine foothills and a stretch of the Alps up to Mont Blanc.
The educational trail "Le Sentier du Temps" ("the time trail") starts from Chaumont and takes you on a journey through evolution, every step of the 4,500 metre path representing a million years.
